Foundation Park Conservancy is excited to announce the addition of sunset swings to the park this spring. Most of the swings, which were designed, crafted and installed by Custom Cutters of Mount Vernon, will be located around the central lake in The Lakes area of the park.
Ariel-Foundation Park, located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, a town of 16,000, is quickly gaining recognition on a larger stage. In addition to appearing in "Ohio" magazine in fall 2017, it was also featured in a regional publication this spring, and has been the subject of recent interest at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and in Victoria, Australia.
Foundation Park Conservancy receives grants enabling big improvements to Ariel-Foundation Park
Foundation Park Conservancy is proud to announce that it has received a $50,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Mount Vernon & Knox County and a generous grant from Ariel Foundation.
It is Foundation Park Conservatory's intention to provide highlights of park activities and improvements in the last year as well as to recognize and honor our financial and in-kind supporters, and volunteers. THANK YOU to anyone who has contributed to the ongoing health of the park and its programming.

Mission Statement
• The mission of the Ariel-Foundation Park Conservancy is to lead and support the economic stability, preservation, development, programming, and promotion of Ariel-Foundation Park in collaboration with the City of Mount Vernon.
Ariel-Foundation Park is officially open April 1 through November 15. Some areas of the park are accessible to pedestrians year-round. Daily hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. There are no admissions or parking fees. The Rastin Observation Tower, park museum, picnic pavillions, trails and other park features are free and open to the public. The Rastin Observation Tower is open during winter months, as long as weather allows.
